Wild Caught

Music and Local Seafood Festival on the Straits!

August 17 - 18, 2018

What? Where?

Wild Caught celebrates roots music, local seafood and produce, and maritime traditions. This year the festival is located at the Gloucester Community Center, 476 Pigott Rd, Gloucester NC 28528. No camping on site. The festival opens Friday night at 7pm with music until 10pm. Saturday's music is from noon to 10pm. WILD CAUGHT seafood and fixings are served Saturday afternoon. Bring something to drink, chairs, bug spray, and sun protection.

Why?

There's no place on earth quite like Down East, and Wild Caught celebrates the beauty, bounty, and heritage of where we live. The seafood is straight from the Straits and veggies from local farms and gardens. The music is homegrown and multi-generational.

Come learn a little about commercial fishing, how to find local seafood, and Carteret Catch!

Wild Caught is made possible by YOUR donations - we are also soliciting sponsorships from businesses and other organizations.
